Hyster h60 with mazda engine

I have a lift with a fuel injected Mazda engine. The lift will idle all day and under acceleration will slightly speed up or die. This is a gasoline burning engine. The fuel is multi port injected or has 4 injectors in the intake manifold. Looks to be an Impco system any information on these engines? Serial number starts with a H177. Unit is a 2004 or 2005 year model.

Proshatree
Ive been looking at the postings on the hyster site which have similar faults to what your truck is having, and have come to the conclusion that you have a bad earth fault on the cable harness sugest you undo all earth points that you can fined and clean then refit cables check ECU earthing point and engine harness earths.

Proshadetree,
I dont supose this truck has a camshaft sensor or a crank shaft sensor, Ive heard that if these sensors have moved or gone out of tollerence then engines may start but not rev up.
Could it possibly be an EGR electricle fault,

Sprayed the lift down with brake cleaner no stumble or miss. Timing is spot on cam and makes absolutely no difference in the distributor. Tried to mist it with a little starting fluid while accelerating and it just died. Has a check engine light on but I have no way of knowing if it was caused by previous attempts at repair or the main problem.

Sounds like a possible vacuum leak or the unit has jumped timing.

Hi Proshadetree,
Im not familiar with this truck model and Im probably assumming a lot by thinking it may be like a Yale GLP30TF
This truck sounds like it has a very weak gasolene mixture and I would have checked all those points you have checked.
I simulated those syntums on a Nissan engine the other day as I was experiencing a surging problem on tick over, that the customer was complaining about.
When I examined the air filter I found it had an inner and outer filter in the same housing, Removing the inner filter aloud the engine to tick over but when I tried to rev the engine the revs would raise alittle and then die.
Dose the air intake on your truck go to an external vent in the safety canopy with a grill over it, if so block it of and see if the truck revs better, I know its really long shot, but you never know maybe the inner air filter is missing Dose this truck have a throttle pot maybe the problems there.

Fuel pressure at about 50lbs. New fuel filter, governor, air flow sensor, throttle position sensor, and fresh tune up. Truck has been worked on by 4 different companies and still will not run correctly. The engine looks like an automotive type with a horizontal intake and a mass air flow sensor inline. Never experienced this engine and have no information on it as far as voltage checks. Impco PSI program will read the codes and there is many but the screen stays light and will not allow me to clear them. It has the standard spectrum 4 post plug and a OBD2 style plug on the valve cover.
