Hyster H3.5FT fault Code 879-3

Hi Can anyone give me some information about a fault code 879-3 it displays on the dash and then after the engine cuts out automatically it then shows the full code " SPN 879 FMI 3 "

Any Ideas about what sthe problem is would be greatfully recieved

I want to know how can I clear the fault code from the memory?

hello h3.believe it or not this code indicates that there is an out of range voltage in the left turn signal driver in the vsm.the truck sees this as a saftey issue and shuts the truck down! shut the truck off,pull the fuse and relay for the turn signals and lights,put em back in.check the light clusters dont have water in them.you may have to take them off and leave them on a radiator for ten minutes.this should sort the problem out.you may have to clear the fault code from the memory.
