Discussion:
Hydraulic lines

Just completed pulling engine and installing oil pump distributor gear. Engine is back in and working fine thanks to Mrfixit.
New problem - Did not mark hydraulics good enough and now when I start engine oil is pouring from overflow on transmission. Could someone help me out. Also not sure of wiring. Is their any wiring problems that could make that happen.

Have got it pretty much worked out. Only thing I have to do now is bleed the power steering, I think. Everything seems to be working correctly except for the power steering. Where does the fluid for the steering come from? Is it fead from the hydraulics reservoir?

You have to be more specific where this overflow is. How do you know it's motor oil? To take the motor out you have the 2 hoses to the hydraulic pump, 2 trans hoses to the radiator, 2 trans filter hoses, and the 2 hoses to the oil filter. There may be a hose that connects to the top of the torque convertor up on the top of bell housing.

Fact of the week
Goldfish are opportunistic feeders that have no stomach and lack that natural "fullness" signal. This means they will eat constantly if food is available, leading to serious health issues such as blocked intestines and obesity from overfeeding.
