Hour meter

Is it possible to reset hour meter for engine? I put a new motor in and need to set to zero. I hope i dont need to buy a new dash/display to do so.
Thanks for the help

Hour meter will only log hours when the engine is running. I do not think it will count with the key switch in the on position.

If this is a Fortis truck, the hour meter will not reset if you replace the dash. It will reset to the stored hours in the VSM once installed.

Sorry but the only way is a new dash. Why do you need to zero it?? As yes the engine will be zero hours but the rest of the truck won't be. If it's just to keep an eye on engine hours just fit a shaker hour meter to the block
