Yes, we are OEM supplier to HELI, and I know much about Anhui Heli, what kind of information would you like to know.
Very interesting to find that I had an account set up on this site. Not very often that I check the email that was used. Come to find, a book I have was taken from me that has user names, passwords and some of my email account information and other misc. information including some notes from conversations with vendors and troubleshooting stuff. Lots of emails to the admin and lots of headache but the post was removed and I now know I have an account. Lesson of the day...memorize all your passwords or keep them in a password protected device. I am sure I will be removing this account...
I once worked as a resident engineer in Anhui Heli Forklift company, because we supply components to Heli, and know much about Heli company and Heli forklifts. I shall be very happy to answer your questions relative to Heli forklifts
Heli is a decent forklift for the money. But here in America, were everyone wants it fixed (NOW) customers do not want to hear excuses about parts on back order. Customers do not want to hear, I am waiting on the factory to get back with me. R&D not copy cats always stay ahead of the bottom feaders.
Maybe over the years Heli has improved, I do not know, what i do know is we were really good at replacing transmissions and mast rollers. We became experts at waiting for transmissions and parts to come from China. When they ran the operation from FL it was nothing but a cluster screw.
Everyone look, you get what you pay for 90% of the time. I like to think of the other 10% were just dumb.
Oh, as far as Heli spending R&D money, why spend money when you can copy someone else??????????????????
Ask yourself one thing, why do all the brands from Asia coming to the American market look alike. (Really)
As I said before, it is a great unit for someone who wants a new forklift, with something for nothing. Then becomes upset when it does not do the job. Its like asking for a first class ticket but only wanting to pay the coach price. That mind set with people will never change.
We're also speaking from experience and maybe more than anyone else on this forum as we sold about a 1000 Heli trucks in Belgium since 2002. All we can tell is that a big majority of our clients are very satisfied with their trucks. Many who bought them once are buying others after some years. And some of those forklifts are used in very tough conditions (cement industry, carbon production, logistics companies, agriculture,...)
When Pipefab is writing about China : "look they control the value of there money, they control there people and business. Last but not least will run you over with a tank if you think outside the red square". Let's keep it objective, it has nothing to do with the quality of Heli trucks.
What is true in Pipefab's comment is the importance of the dealership. You can't miss a good and experienced technical support.
When Gordo writes the following : "Heli is a B line truck that companies buy when they can't afford anything else or think that they can get the same bang by spending less". Among our clients we have very big companies who certainly could afford more expensive trucks. But it's not because they could spend that money that it's worth to spend it. And it's not only about the purchase price of the truck, it's also about the price of the spare parts and the easy maintenance. The Heli is a good, basic truck and many people appreciate that.
We are OEM transmission components supplier to Anhui Heli in China, please contact me if you have a need for Heli forklift transmission components.

Heli is a B line truck that companies buy when they can't afford anything else or think that they can get the same bang by spending less. They aren't a terrible truck but will not stand up in a high use enviroment but are better than what's coming out of China. And yes I speak from experience.
Well as i said before, the only good about Heli, is that is is cheap for the money. If you need or want a new forklift but onoly care about price, then Heli forklift is for you.
As far as Heli being the number one in China, ok look they control the value of there money, they control there people and business. Last but not least will run you over with a tank if you think outside the red square.
Forget the brand name, its the dealership service surpport that should be considered when looking at new.
MotorProducts Clark now Heli why not try THE HORSE with a pulley attached to its tail and every time you get a SWISH you get to lift a LOAD. How can you slag off years of R & D in our industry for a copy of the Bonser and a TOYO UNPANKI.
Heli Forklifts
Stay away from them unless you want to lose customers and money repairing them.
We're importer of Heli forklifts in Belgium (Europe) since 2002. Before that, we've been importer of Clark forklifts for more than 60 years (since 1946).
We can't really agree with PIPEFAB's point of view. Heli trucks are not perfect (perfect doesn't exist on earth), indeed mast rollers may be weak and radiators may leak at times but globally they're good value for the money. It's no wonder why Heli has been number one on the Chinese market for more than 20 consecutive years. It's the best Chinese truck out there. Until today it's not as evolved as a Toyota or a Linde but the truck is simple, well designed, cheap and easy for maintenance.
We've met many clients who complained about well known brands such as Toyota, Linde or Still because the trucks were using too much electronics. Doing the maintenance at home is just impossible because of the software you need (like a car). The excessive cost of the spare parts and the after sale services is also a complain we hear very often.
To people who still don't know the Heli trucks I would advise them to try them. Many will be pleasantly surprised, there's no doubt about that.
