GC Power

Has anyone had any experience with GC Power Forklifts from china, good, bad or indifferent? They look like the same truck as a Tailift but they also do a model called ASW?

Hi!!

I have been dealing with the GC Power brand for the last 3 years in Qld, Australia. I have dealt with the Isuzu Diesel powered 2.5 and 3.0 ton and the Nissan LPG 2.5 ton units.

The original Forklift is a great unit with minor faults so far being just the Forward/reverse Solenoid which is the same as on the Komatsu FG25t-12 the Side Shift wear pads do not last long at all.

The ASW I have found the customers are not happy with due to the positioning of a few items. Such things like the Gear lever to far from the steering wheel making it that some smaller operators have to remove their hands from the steering wheel to select FWD/REV.

I had an issue with brakes on this machine but found once I had the shoes re-lined no more faults. I have only brought 1 of these and dont think i would do so again. The original brand is to good to go past IMO and that of my customers

All up I have brought and sold 7 of these units.
