FRSB T.C.M Torque sensor

Hi all i have a unit with a faulty steer motor torque sensor the unit has 5 wire connections i received the replacement and found it only has 3 wires i called Criterion equipment to tell them and they informed me they do not get the 5 wire anymore as they don't make them i then asked for connection diagram for the three wire and was told it can't work ???? Can anyone shed some light for me thanks Rob
