Fault E696

= Road speed abnormal update rate.
This is not a valid code for this lift..Is not in the fault list for this machine and this lift does not have any speed sensors.
Any ideas?? Thanks

Just saw this reply. You are correct! Had to have dealer reflash, problem solved. Some software snafu.

This is an error that should not be. The lift will need to be programmed by your local dealer. If this does not work, may need to replace controller. Thanks.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
Check Can high to ground minus, it must 2.5 volt
Check resistance Can hi and low are 60 ohms, if 120 ohm you have missing part or wiring
