Exhust smells like rotten eggs & code 24

I get the error for throttle sensor. Any ideas on the smell?

the throttle and the accelerator are different items. the throttle is part of the engine, the accelerator is the linkage to the pot that your foot push on.
doesn't this code also have a letter (e, p, or f) before it?
if it is an e24, does this happen all the time, on start up, or only after being driven fast? has anyone messed with the accel pedal stop bolt in the floorboard?
