Discussion:
Error Code that is not listed

Hello, good morning. I have a Pallet jack B827N44658J( serial #), that has error code AL 11, this lift was dropped off the back of a truck from a liftgate at full height, so there are obvious issues with that, but i have resolved all the other physical issues with the lift and now that i was finally able to power on the lift, it has an error code of AL 11, i don't have access to the service information where we are due to dealership rules with us, but i really need to know where to go with this, I have a feeling that the controller has an internal fault after being dropped from such a height, ive solved this before but had the information to follow the diagnosis process! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If controller has version 1.08 in it code AL11 will come up normally code AL10.would come up code states main controller capacitors did not charge within 500ms of key on check for loose or damaged wire connection check wire connection at contactor pump Motor and traction motor check for short on main harness check for short in component coil disconnect battery disconnect all drive motor pump motor solenoid brake and coil connections at the component end of the harness tape wire ends to prevent shorts discharge controller by placing a 200 2w resistor across battery + and B reconnect battery and turn on key switch use volt meter and observe voltage across B+and B if there is no voltage increase replace controller if there is steady voltage increase to battery voltage connect each accessory one at a time until the fault occurs to identify damaged component damage controller replace controller hope this helps

the yale service book for this model does not list that alarm code.
if you have checked the start switch, the fuses, and all connections then...
i think your best bet is to pull the controller and send it to fsip and have them check it out, it could have something broken inside it.
i know in the past i've dealt with these and the main power cable standoff's inside the controller can break off the internal heatsink fairly easy with a strong jar like that. Also we had to go into the controllers before and make sure the ribbon cables inside were plugged in, they had a tendency to vibrate loose and zapi had us go in and reconnect them and use silicone to make sure they did not come loose again.
Just a couple ideas to try...
