No traction and the unit is stuck full up. When i cleaned all the electrical connections i get a very tiny movement on lift and lower but only approx 1/8", the pump kicks in but to lower it only goes down 1/8". Any suggestions on this?

Ran into a code E28 today on a 7 series.on/off switch tested ok,no power going to switch. I removed the rubber stop at the tiller and complete tiller assembly.I found 4 broken wires leading to the handle harness Where it passes through between the tiller and drive unit.repaired harness also found a blown 10a fuse,replaced fuse and back in service
Make sure the limit switch is engaged.
i got the same code i change the batterys and repacle the on/off switch with the key also and is still popping ? any help
Possible harness issue causing this problem. Is it an older jack?
If the forks are stuck full up, check your lower solenoid valve (it should click). Also check the connections on the lift contactor. One more thing, check the lift limit switch.
The wires in the handle shouldn't anything to do with the charging issue. If the batteries are too dead the charger will not turn on, the circuit board needs to see about 23 volts in order to turn on. I would check batteries first and if they are fine try a different charger on them. I have run into bad circuit boards in the charge, there is a relay that can be jumped out on the circuit board to see if the charger works. Hopefully this helps.
C157 & C28. Apparently if you turn the control handle all the way it will make the truck cut out. The earlier fellow had mentioned a bad spot in the wire harness and that soulds feasable. Now the truck won't take a charge---maybe there are wires grounding out on the handle housing.

the contactor k10 is stuck close thats why you got a c28 the truck did not pass a self test. check the resistance of a contactor coil also the emergency switch it is like a toggle switch i think. replace the contactor k10.
