Here the mains cards :

We change these cards with others from the same forklift model and we found the same error code.
so the error could it be from this card?

Hello,
Thank you for your answer.
What is the VFC? Is it the one where the heat sensor is plug on it?
I found this picture online :

Is it the one in the middle?
if everything else is ok then it is the vfc card.
Hi,
Some news about our raymond : we checked the card and we didn't find any problem, we also interchange the motherboard with one from another forklift (without error code) and it doesn't work better. We still have this error code 2E...
- heat sensor checked and fine
- wire from heat sensor to board : fine
- we have 5v at the sensor connection pin
So I don't know what could be the problem... Any idea?
Thank you for your time and help ;-)
Yoann
Thanks for your answers.
We checked the tension between the pins and we don't have the 5v...
We will extract the card and check for broken condensator or broken resistor...
I hope we will not have to replace the card...
I wouldnt reccomend changing the firmware unless you must, f series codes with a new vfc would dictate if you need firmware or not. fyi: as new versions are released errors are often made in the programming side and sometimes cause a problem that is not repairable until a new version is released (dealers wont sell old firmware)
If you do wind up replacing the vfc you may need to update the firmware as well.
I beleive your local Raymond dealer is G N Johnston Equipment.
yes it could be a problem with a card.
with the battery disconnected, find plug on the system card marked JPS7, it should be an 18 pin connector that plugs directly into the system card (motherboard in control panel) check for resistance using pin 12 and pin 18. with the sensor plugged into the harness and the truck at room temperature you should read around 850 - 2000 ohms. if open circuit is found, check for resistance using the above pins to the sensor plug and correct any resistive wiring found.
if above is all ok. unplug sensor from harness. connect battery and turn truck on. use JPS7 again. have your meter leads back probing the plug. check for voltage at jps7-12 (b-) and jps7-18 (b+) should be 5 volts. if not the system card is at fault. if you do have 5 volts, your vfc card is bad (rectangle card screwed to the system card)
My serial number is EZ-A-00-18446 and the model is FASI R45TT-M.
We've checked the voltage out of the sensor plug and get 0v.
Could it be a problem with the electronic card?
Thanks
when the problem is corrected the code will go away, no way to erase the code, it will clear after the truck see's proper voltage from the sensor.
i am willing to assist you but to proceed further a model and serial number of your truck would be required.
Hi,
We checked every wires sensors and we found several discontinuities in these wires.
We fixed that but we still have the 2E error message.
We also try to swap a new sensor from another raymond but the problem is still here
Do we have to reset the memory or do a button combination in order to erase this error message?
Thanks for your help
Ok, we will check that. Thanks for your help ;-)
2e - traction motor temperature out of range.
probaly a broken wire to the sensor.
