How about the year? S/N 1A188248
Thank you for answering my question.
A little word of warning about this model that are "long in the tooth". I've got 2 customers with these and both of them have had the stub shaft that is welded in to the frame and supports the mast, break. It is a shaft that is about 1 3/4" in diameter and 4" long that the mast sits on with the U shaped clamp around the back. It is welded in to a hole in the frame. Crown makes a replacement pin for the newer ones but not for older ones.
To fix it you must remove the mast, pull the drive unit gearbox out of the way, grind and punch out the old piece of pin, and weld in the new one. I had to make a pin for the older unit that was not available.
Anyway, both are fixed and the trucks have held up very good other than that. One has been their dock truck for 15 years, going in and out of trucks all day.
yes it is a 3 wheel sit down made to go in and out of trailers and over dock plates, and every thing else expected of a 3 wheel sit-down counterbalanced electric forklift. (stacking, etc...)
This is a rather 'older' model though, and likely to be a little "long in the tooth", so to speak,
We do know that, here on forklftaction, they have a feature on the left side of the web page that is called 'spec checker', where you can check out the type of truck by model and make, if it is a current production truck?
The closest to this truck I see is SC4010-30.
