Discussion:
Damaged over head guard

Hello,

I have recently come across a forklift interested in purchase. It is all 100% except for the over head guard, which is slightly damaged. Can this be repaired through one of my mechanics, or does it have to be completely replaced, or can a certified engineer remake the damaged parts? If it needs to be completely replaced or if a certified engineer is needed for repairs, please offer me written confirmation through email or fax on +61297562755.

As wise man once told me you gamble with what you can afford to lose.
If you are prepared to assume the liability in lieu of replacing with an OEM component go for it.
I have seen many repaired OHG's over the years but never had one done.
Too many lawyers..........
