and since I don't have a horse with either of those names in this race, I say go with the sales person that is willing to take you to the best place for lunch. both are really good trucks, and both have a cheaper version (medium or lighter duty) that you may wind up with when you start asking about price.
I say if you are at all concerned with price over food/lunch selection, then consider a Big Joe from Big lift. they may turn out to be a major player in the next few years.

I am an Independent guy work by myself for myself - go with the crown.

Crown is built & enginered to last easy to work on etc etc.

Raymond also make a good product but i prefer the crown

Well, Likewise from the Crown guy (me) you'll hear I think Crown has the lower cost. Why, well obviously we both work for Crown or Raymond. But my point will be because it's built better. Crown designs, builds, and assembles all it's own trucks.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
