Crown 15M (1979)

Forks will not lift load but will raise without load. If a load is dropped on forks when raised it will hold load and will continue to raise or lower without any problem until fully lowered. I've been told to rebuild cylinder but it seams more likely to me to be a valve problem. Lift is in great condition otherwise and fully operational. Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. The M15 that I have appears to only have one cylinder which is in the middle of the mast area. Am I missing something?

Thanks again!

Its always been lift cylinder seals on every M-series I've ever worked on and I'm a Crown tech. Pull BOTH cylinders, strip and HONE the bores (important if you want your seals to last), then rebuild with new kits.
