Cracked flexplates

Has anyone seen cracking flexplates in the Doosan G20SC-2 LP with a Mitsubishi 2.4 engine. Second one cracked. We checked the flywheel, mount, and converter for being true. Lasts about 1,200 hours. Cracks @ the flywheel mounting bolt area.

How did you get those 2 bolts in the middle of the trans., on both sides. There is no room to get at them. The 2 that face the opposite of the rest.

No diff problems, but we did find the problem. After researching the history of the truck we found it had been in an accident. Soneone ran into a steel collumn with the left fork - broke the trunion. So after we pulled the trans, we pulled the mounting plate ( like a spacer between the trans & block). It was tweaked. When we bolted the trans up it would load it to one side - causing stress on the flexplate.

Was wondering if you had any diff. problems with this truck? I have one that broke the teeth on the ring and pinion. Have any idea why that would happen? Thanks, Jim
