code on start up

Have error code 29448 service required on start up. Any ideas how to clear etc not familiar with the small electric stuff.

1. Ensure the steer handle is in the full vertical position at truck startup.

2. Ensure the steer handle enable switch is not being held closed at truck startup.
a. Adjust switch.
b. Verify 0 volts at pin #6 at the controller connector with the steer handle in the vertical position.

3. Measure continuity across pin #1 and pin #2 at the steer handle enable connector.
a. Switch should be open with no continuity shown.
- Replace switch.

Fault code 29448 is telling you that the control handle is not in full upright position when unit is first turned on. Leave handle alone until after key is first turned on and does self test. Then pull down on handle and use unit. If it continues to fault after trying this, then switch may be out of adjustment, but I doubt it.
