i HAVE A CODE 51 ON A CAT EP18KT 3 WHEEL SIT DOWN. CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS?

the pedal may be over rotating, probbly missing a stop bolt or the floor board has shifted

easier to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.
SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE ON THE ERIGHT TRACK. THE OPERATOR SAYS HE ACCELERATES AND THEN THE TRAVEL CUTS OUT. HE HAS TO RESET W/KEY SWITCH TO GO AGAIN. THANKS FOR THE REPLY.

Code 51 means faulty accelerator
- Check accelerator for damage.
- Check wiring between Acc. & Logic card.
If it`s ok so be yet or look in the logic card and see which components is responsible for received a signal from Acc.
If you cann`t handling it or replace Logic card.
