Discussion:
code 103

Have a Hyster S70FT that is showing a code 103. Wondering what code 103 means and also wondering what weight of engine oil this unit is supposed to have- standard 10w30?

Code 103 does not show up in DTC manual, have you cleared it out to see if it comes back?
10W-30 is what Hyster recommends, but I have customers who run 15W-40 in theirs and have no issues. Warranty will not cover if you are using anything other than 10W-30. Let me know about the code and I'll see what I can find.
