code 51 only means the capacitor inside the controller has not yet charged up, and it is a normal code that flashes up for a few seconds on normal start up.
As per the manual, it can be the fuse or the controller, however I know that if you have to completely and correctly programmed the controllers, you will get that code when you replace the controllers. I also know that sometimes some loose connection into the controllers will cause this code.
WHAT DOES CODE A51 MEAN I HAVE NOW CONTROLE OF ANY TYPE WITH KEY ON NO LINE CONTACTOR
yes, but there is a different cable, you may be getting the code 51 because it is not all set up to the trucks specs, (and which is master and which is slave), but you may also have some bad pins or plugs in the big connection.
I HAVE INSTALLED BOTH NEW SLAVE AND MASTER AND WANT TO KNOW CAN I SET UP THE CONTROLERS WITH THE LX HAND SET
You may be able to swap the controllers. You will ahve to configure them as master and slave. I think that the master contoller controlles the line contactor. It is a possibilty that the controller is just bad.
BOTH CONTROLERS WERE REBUILT AND EVERSINCE THE REINSTALL THE CODE -51 HASE BEEN THERE THE WIRE HARNESS CHECKS GOOD BATTERY VOLTS ARE TO SPEC DO YOU THINK ANY OTHER THING COULD CAUSE THIS OR IS IT TIME TO BUY NEW OR USED CONTROLERS
The Capacitors are internal to the control module
