Clark CMP25L - Inching brakes binding

I recently replaced the inching and master brake cylinders on a CLARK CMP25L fork, now the operator complains that the brakes are binding.. stops the fork, and prevents its moving until the unit has "cooled down".

Quoting the operator - "the brakes seize and become tight at the pedals when the fork gets hot"

I'm thinking this issue is with the inching brake and not the wheel/drum brakes. I also notice that the transmission fluid get really hot real quickly - even after a short operation. Can spent transmission fluid cause this problem? Is it that the radiator coolant passes are getting blocked?

There's no complaint or evidence of engine overheating.

Have you got free play on the pedals when in the neutral position. pedals should return to neutral then have 2-3mm free play to allow oil to return.
