CAT M#MC60DP S# 7BK00157 - Flashing F-1

Hello all,
The unit has hydraulics - slow speed when in froward/reverse - full throttle pops the code F - 1 (flashing) - battery level is at 9 on the dash - 37 -36 volts at battery and panel - specific gravity is good to fair - the steer/hyd motor sounds like its running on low volts ( barely turning) but has full hydraulic functions

Has anyone had this problem?? looking for an area to start -

You called it electrodrive, cleaned entire unit and found the bottom of the throttle controller had been missing ( return spring busted out) Code E - Installed new controller and drives great. one small problem the steering/hydraulic motor seems to turn very slowly when unit is idle. Is this normal???

Not sure about this particular model, but on some of the cat trucks the F1 fault code is related to the foot pedla being out of adjustment. Which makes sense with your slow speed issue and only comming up when fully depressed. Does this truck have one of those foot pedals with opto led circuits internally? If so it may require a blow out just a clean does the job sometimes.
