Discussion:
Can anyone help me 1969 hyster

I took the main cylinder off my 1969 Hyster 3 stage forklift which pics 4060# and reaches 241" which is really rare most only go up 181"..
I take the cylinder to a hydrolic specialist because it needed seals replaced well someone stole it from them and we are out a cylinder.
Does anyone out there have a blueprint or specs on old liftsnso I can get this cylinder replaced? What a loss.

A 53 year old lift isn't worth a Yankee dime. Even the Chinese won't make after market parts for it.Best to haul it off to the scrap yard and get what you can out it - drain all the fuel, oils, fluids first..

Wow, it almost makes your forklift almost worthless. There is a number stamped on the outside of the mast which you will need to try to find a used cylinder. There will be a 181 stamped underneath the mast number. You will also need to supply the model and serial # of the forklift truck. You may have to buy the complete mast which usually run around $1500.
