Discussion:
Brake Drum Removal

Need help on how to remove the brake drum.
After removing the tires, and the allen head bolts I am unable to remove the axle flange,
This model has an offset gear reduction not straight axle into the differential.
It appears I would remove the bolts for the drive gear offset reduction housing to access and remove the axle flange.
So I would end up with the brake drum and the ring gear housing removed as one unit, then I imagine inside the gear housing I would be able to access the fasteners to remove the axle flange after removing the allen bolts..
Seems like more work than necessary to just pull the brake drum to service the shoes and wheel cylinder.
Let me know if I am on the right track as i see no other way.
