Discussion:
Blowing ECU fuse

I am working on a 8FDU25 and it has been intermittently been blowing the 10A ecu fuse, which renders the lower and tilt functions inoperable. Replaced the fuse and popped as soon as key turned on. checked with a meter for shorts and 3.5k ohms on load side of fuse. install new fuse and ok. truck functions and shows 2 codes on dash...62-1 and A5-1. I am confident fuse will go again, but would like direction when it goes and also to know what the codes are currently for.

Thanks
Tim

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
