It's nice to find someone else in the world of forklifts that's thinking green!...use 100% bio...the technology has been in place for years and the biodiesel we can buy now is virtually flawless...and the exhaust gases smell nice!!
As an industry we must be one of the biggest users of diesel fuel...I for one would love to see push towards bio!

They are ready to use B5 (5% biodiesel), not more.

The first step is to adapt the fuel system to use biodiesel.

Thanks for your message.

Here's a good biodiesel resource: www[dot]biodieselnow[dot]com

Definitely be prepared to change the fuel filter. Biodiesel is a solvent and will cause the dirty buildup from dino diesel to break up and clog the filter. Also, if the fuel lines are rubber, replace them with viton. Biodiesel will dissovle rubber (not very fast, but it will happen) resulting in leaks and eventually failed lines.

Are you planning to make the biodiesel, or buy it?

i hear that u better get ready to change alot of fuel filters since they plug up sometimed depending on the % of the blend (from a pump)
other than that its pretty much fine to use as far as on-road trucks are concerned from what the O&O trucking magazines i get
check land-line magazine and other similar publications for alot of info into biodiesel
if ur thinking of converting a truck to run on used vegitable oit then ull have to figure a way to heat ur fuel tank to keep the fuel from gelling
