I have caterpillar E6000 electric forklift, the battery is fully charged, turning the key off and on ,the bars on the battery level will drop, some times all the way down to 3 bars then dead, turn the switch off and on again and it might go back up might not, plug the battery into another forklift and its completely charged, but the forklift will quit moving when the dash says it's dead, even though the battery is charged. Any help appreciated.

hi max_h
forum constraints do not allow email addresses inside the posts
you can add it in your forum profile in the signature area if you like and it will show up at the bottom of your posts or you can click on my name or look at my posts and get my email and send me one
would prefer posting a new thread here though and dealing with it in the forum so others can learn from it hopefully ;o)
But to address your code 47
basically you probably have a bad connection at the controller for your pump controller (the one on the right hand side), check the cable terminals, make sure none are burnt, and are all tight. Pay close attention to the post on the controller when you check the tightness, if the post moves or turns at all then it is more than likely broken off from it's solder point on the conductor plate it is soldered to. If this is the case then you will need a new or reman controller, these are cold soldered to the plates and cannot be repaired in the field.
hey swoop, I've seen you answers a lot, looks like you a guy with experience, I got this E6000 CAT with a code 47, any help here? thanks in advance, [email address removed]
You can reply there if you want.
Having same problem,,did you ever figure it out
Thanks, I will start there
check your connections to the display, check your connections to ground, Where your battery cables connect to the truck system check and make sure they are tight. Locate your logic card and pull each connector and inspect and replug back in and make sure the plugs insert fully and lock in.
Sounds like you have a bad connection somewhere.
