Discussion:
Bad ETAC?

Our service tech said the ETAC card was bad but at another plant of ours they found a bad wiring harness on theirs.
Card is a expensive if that's not it.
I have wiggled and turned the wiring harness every which away but doesn't seem to be it. But not sure how to pin down that's it is the card.

Showing items 1 - 4 of 4 results.
During the turning on process a number 223 comes up right before the battery strength number appears which is not right according to charging all night and only shows 77.
Sorry I did not buy these Toyoda's which we have two and already had problems with both.

HPD shows when you command travel prior to moving handle into operating position. Verify operation of brake switch. Also follow etac wiring from control handle thru the knuckle then to the controller. its only 4 wires and i've seen them break along the inside of the drive unit where they bend during steering

Only thing that will pop up is Hpd when you let the direction paddle go in reverse
and horn blows.

Do you have any error codes ? You can easily test the harness, its only 4 wires and the plugs are accessible with the knuckle bumper and control pod removed
