Discussion:
Autonomous and fully automated forklifts and other material handling vehicles

Hello, I would like to get some feedback on how the high level of automation can influence the material handling workflow. We have all the means to automate machines, like forklifts, etc.... , but there are very little discussions on what it means for manufacturing facilities with such AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) and how to redefine their material flows and to account for the human factor. Please share your ideas.
