Discussion:
Anti-Stall code 524226-4

When this code is present is it normally just a bad anti-stall coil or are there typically other issues? Also where might this be located?

Zeeker,

The anti-stall solenoid is not getting the correct voltage or is shorted internally. Using a VOM on ohms, check wire 702B against battery negative, should read infinity, anything else is a shorted wire. Check across the solenoid pin connections, should read 5 to 7 ohms. If you read lower, coil is shorted, higher coil has internal failure. Once you get the problem resolved, code will no longer show on the dash. Good Luck.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
