Discussion:
All Hydraulics not responding

BOught a used lift. Used it for a while and had not one issue with the machine at all. I got sick. Had to park it no one moved it or touched it for 2-3 months. Battery appears to be in good health and machine moves but hydraulics do nothing at all. Hydraulic motor appears to always be running. Not sure where to look for problems from here. Really could use some help or a service manual.

The switch to the side of the control handle was the issue. Thanks for your response. It was covered in grease found when tracing back lines. Thanks for the replies. So after getting that problem solved hit another problem.

Checked name plate. E50B is all it states. It appears to be a printed label from Hyster-original manufactuer. Very legible and easy to see. Unknown if I should look else where.
Found it to be a sticking contactor that was Normally open from grease build up and it recently got very cold here found it would work when warmed up etc..

would this happen to be an E50BS model?
has an EV-1 system in it?
check the pump contactor tips and make sure they are not welded shut also. Like kevin says it might be a control handle switch stuck but i'd check the contacts on the pump contactor too.

For the hydraulic pump running all the time.....on the side of the control handle assembly should be a switch this needs adjusted, might be a cover that has to come off first to get to it.....how is the hydraulic fluid...full and clean? Filter??
