As for helping with fault codes etc? i'm not sure, not enough info.

do you have the error codes for that truck, or troubleshooting, or other information regarding the controller?
more than likely it's just programming and firmware
those are generally mfg specific, they may be similar in format but every mfg has their own options and specific settings etc.
You would need to get the firmware versions of each to see but i'd be willing to bet they are different.
