Discussion:
522155-2 code TOSS sensor location

Hi Guys, I have a 2014 S7 with a 522155-2 code.
I have access to the fault codes but no service manual. People have said the TISS and TOSS sensors are at the top of the transmission, and that the TISS has 3 wires and the TOSS has 4.
On this machine the TISS has 3 wires and the TOSS has 5. Am I looking at the wrong thing? as at the bottom of the transmission next to the prop shaft there is a similar sensor.
I swapped the 5 wire sensor at the top of the transmission (what i think is the TOSS sensor) today with a used one but am still having the issues.

Thanks for your reply, worked it out eventually. On the 2 speed transmission the TOSS sensor is located next to the prop shaft.
I found it to be a poor connection through the plug.
The sensors at the top of transmission are the TISS and the Intermediate sensors.

TISS and TOSS are always very close to each other....3 wire and 4 wire connectors.

5 wire ? Might be the XMSN valve, enables Transmission Brake to work.

Have you Calibrated the XMSN valve ?

It's easy to do and might solve the problem.
