Discussion:
2004 Linde H30D not reving up.

Hi, Iv got a 2004 Linde H30D and it usually increase the engine revs when going up, down or tilting the mast. The other morning this stopped working and then we couldn't move it as the accelerator pedal was also doing nothing. After a few times of switching it off and on again it started to work.
We was advised to change the throttle pedal potentiometer which we have done.
This worked for a few days with no issues.
Now, this morning it was back to it no reving thing. Turned it off and on again about a dozen times and it started working until it got switched off and now it wont clear itself.
There is no alarm or fault code coming up on the dash, it starts fine and idles fine just wont rev up with the throttle pedal (so I cant move it) and it also doesn't rev when you operate the mast. The mast is fully functionable but slower due to it not reving. We have checked and topped up the hydraulic oil so that is all ok.
Any thoughts? I hope someone has an idea as its stuck in the middle of my yard at the moment.

You are both right.
Yes you are 100% correct. I ended up having a Linde engineer out (at great expense) as the forklift was stuck in the middle of the yard right in the way.

He turned up, hooked hit foot under the throttle pedal to lift it up, started it and it ran and revved perfectly.
He changed the little plastic cogs where the potentiometer is mounted (both the external one he removed with a pair of long nose plyers and the internal one where he had to take the cover off the pedal box) Now the forklift runs perfect. Everyday is a school day! He did not need to program/calibrate this. He did say 9 times out of 10 you wont need to calibrate it, if you do its normally the plastic gears worn.

Hopefully by me posting this someone else will see the post if they have the same problem and they wont have to lay out massive expense for not a lot.

After changing the pedal position sensor it should be calibrated with Linde Service Guide software.
If it is out of calibration you could try starting the engine after moving the pedal up or down a little (single pedal) in different positions and starting it in each position to see it will drive. If you do find a spot where it works you could also bend the tab on the sensor to bring it into calibration when it starts with the pedal in the neutral position. This would be all guess work if you do not have access to LSG to see the voltage of the sensor.

Is it a 393 series? If so, you need to change the plastic gears that actuate the speed potentiometer. the slightest wear in the gears will cause this issue.

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
