Still R70-25:
12 or 24 volt /Schematic??

I would like to know if a forklift truck that I have purchased needs 12 or 24 batteries.
Starting does not work on 12V but I dare not say if I can start with 24v.
Do you have an electrical diagram showing this?

Hello
Having a Still R70-25 gas
It starts fine, run 5-8 seconds, stop immediantly.
It is 12v battery now, had ben running fine for a long periode.
Looks like there could Be two 12v battery fitted.
Some of the Electronic relays is 24v, could it be the problem ?
Any suggestion ?
Anybody having a Electronic diagram and a wiring diagram ?

No batteries were installed at the time of purchase. It is very difficult to determine which voltage is used to start with a "bare" forklift. Certainly because there are various types made of this model.

I am familiar with series / parallel connection of batteries.

I tried to start the forklift with 12V. The dashboard lights are bright enough. But the starter does not want to run.

how many batteries does it have? 2 12v?
that would have to be the case, all you need to determine is if they are wired series or parallel.
Parallel (pos to pos, neg to neg) means the system is 12v, it just needs the parallel for more amperage across 2 batteries instead of one.
If they are series (pos to neg to pos to neg) then that takes 2 12v batteries and turns the circuit to 24v.
