Crane & Rigging Conference

CRC Canada 2014 will be supported by Industrial Training International (ITI) Canada ULC, Event Partner; Liebherr-Canada Ltd., Associate Sponsor; and Crane & Hoist Canada, Media Partner. Additionally, organizer Maximum Capacity Media has confirmed that the Canadian Hoisting & Rigging Safety Council (CHRSC) will again participate as a Supporting Organization.

The CHRSC made its first public appearance at CRC Canada 2012. The group has since become a government-recognized, independent, industry-represented group and, having updated attendees on the progress of early initiatives at this year?s event, will again sit before the conference as a panel and take questions at the end of the session.

Other headline speakers will include Mike Parnell, president and CEO, ITI Canada ULC; and Knut Buschmann, president, Unirope Ltd.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
