Lombardi Lift has demonstrated a prototype of its wrap-around aerial lift, the Lombardi Lift.
The Lombardi Lift attaches to an aerial boom in place of a standard work platform and offers the same functionality as a common platform, but also provides unique capabilities that allow greater accessibility and create a safer work environment.
The Lombardi Lift can be configured into L, U and wrap-around shapes that provide up to 360 deg. access to vertical structures such as poles and chimneys.
The platform can adjust to match various structure widths and depths, and also move vertically up and down the structure.
Simultaneously accessing two or more sides of a structure with the Lombardi Lift minimises the need to re-position the boom lift's base during a job.
Donald Lombardi designed and patented the product in 2007. He holds two additional US patents and one Canadian patent for this design.
