World Vision wants to buy forklifts |
Christian charity World Vision International is seeking bids for forklifts for a three-year project in the United States.
The charity says the project involves working to support families without homes by providing them with shelters to keep them warm and safe.
As part of the initiative, World Vision is seeking written quotes for four LPG or diesel pneumatic forklifts.
Bids should go to global procurement director
Bob Wilson.
World Vision describes itself as an Evangelical Christian humanitarian aid, development and advocacy organisation registered in the US and exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is not, however, looking for a donation, but rather a commercial offer.
