Miretti closely follows the technological evolution of the automotive and aeronautics sectors, the most advanced and leading sectors, with constant updating that favors research and experimentation.
Atex transformations of lithium, LPG, hybrid and diesel stage V vehicles
An example of this is the considerable progress on the Ex protections of hybrid trucks, trucks with lithium batteries, trucks powered by LPG for Atex Zone 2. The effort undertaken has been rewarded: the results obtained on lithium trucks and LPG trucks are currently still unique in the world. Since the introduction of lithium cells in the automotive world and in the industrial sector, Miretti has decided to engage in engineering and technical research dedicated to the Atex conversion of lithium vehicles with the main objective of developing a certified, ergonomic and also customized for machines with particular types of power supply.
Miretti is also ready on the front of latest generation internal combustion engines, with a lower polluting impact. It transforms numerous types of modern internal combustion engines of Stage V diesel trucks equipped with anti-pollution devices (DOC+DPF) in an explosion-proof manner, as required by te European regulations.
CoatEx & FilterEx
From careful and constant observation conducted in the field, innovative and alternative solutions such as CoatEx and FilterEx are born. The patented CoatEx system provides a thermal barrier between the hot surfaces of the engine and the outside atmosphere. It plays a key role in controlling heat release and limiting surface temperatures. The FilterEx is a certified compact, ergonomic, self-cleaning cooling system that reduces the temperature of the exhaust gases, extinguishes the flame and the spark and reduces pollution. All these functions are performed by a single component.
Two examples of integrated solutions for trucks
The new Miretti Atex Plugs and Sockets are ergonomic and compact solutions, easy to use and of high quality.
It is a better, highly engineered and more cost-effective product that better meets the needs of today's explosion-proof industry where forklift trucks are increasingly compact, with ever-shrinking spaces and very tight battery compartments. The new plugs and sockets also avoid complex and complicated extraction maneuvers by the operator
The new truck lighting systems are also part of the extensive ergonomic modernization work of the Miretti explosion-proof. Compact, simple, light elements with a linear design, these systems combine protection methods (encapsulation of sparkling parts and increased safety) with great LED illuminating power.
Placing R&D and innovation at the service of the needs of its customers and of the handling market also means overcoming limiting conditions to make better alternatives accessible that were precluded before. Miretti's research and experimentation are aimed at offering ever greater opportunities to end users who, even in dangerous areas with risk of explosion, will be able to have more options, choose between vehicles with different types of power supply and exploit their advantages in terms of performance.
