TMHE completes the Toyota Tonero family of IC counterbalance forklifts with the launch of its new Tonero 3.5-8.0 T range at CeMAT |
With CeMAT 2014 around the corner, here is a sneak peak of what some manufacturers will be showing off.
Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) will present the new Toyota Tonero HST counterbalance truck range that offers hydrostatic control. Also on display will be the latest additions to the Toyota Traigo 80v electric range, which is being extended to include 4 and 5 T models.
Visitors will also see the new BT Levio P-series of powered pallet trucks with platform. The trucks offer capacities up to 2.5 T, "but remain the most compact in class, while delivering a higher top speed than any other models available".
TMHE will demonstrate its latest capabilities for automated stacking, transportation and order picking. Toyota is also now offering racking solutions for customers, which will be presented at CeMAT.
Hamburg-based Jungheinrich Group says it is presenting numerous innovations and product refinements at CeMAT, including a completely redesigned generation of IC-engine powered forklifts. The German-made trucks consist of the DFG/TFG 316-320 and DFG/TFG 425-435 model ranges.
Also premiering is a complete tow train system that includes two new series 5 tow tractors with drawbar pull of up to 9 T as well as type GTP and GTE trailers.
In 2013, the new series 3 trucks were introduced (ETV 318); the official launch of the ETV/ETM 320-325 model range is taking place at CeMAT 2014.
Kalmar, part of Cargotec, will introduce a new G-generation electric forklift. The forklift, entering the 5-9 T counterbalance market, boasts features that significantly reduce the cost of ownership. The G-generation concept, already implemented in Kalmar's DCG90-180 forklift and DRG450 reach stacker, claims to improve the synchronicity between truck and driver, increasing the operators' productivity and reducing costs of ownership.
Thomas Malmborg, vice president, forklifts at Kalmar, says: "This is definitely a major advance in forklift design and certainly will set the standard in energy efficient materials handling."
Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks will launch a record number of new models in 2014. The preview will include its biggest family of diesel trucks, the 6-16 T TREXiA. Visitors will also get a first glimpse of the manufacturer's new 2.5-3.5 T electric counterbalance trucks, EDiA EX.
