Danish materials handling equipment manufacturer Logitrans has launched a pallet truck powered by a lithium battery.

"To meet the many customer inquiries and demands for a lithium-powered pallet truck, we are now happy to launch our Logitrans Mover. With the capacity of 1,500 kg, it is perfectly suited for light and medium-duty materials handling," says Gitte Kirkegaard, CEO at Logitrans.

The battery weighs 4.5 kg and has a small footprint, enabling an extremely compact truck. The battery can be exchanged in just two seconds, and charging takes 2.5 hours - with a long operational time between charges. The lithium batteries have a high number of battery cycles.

The pallet truck is designed for ergonomic operation, and the handle can be used in the upright position, optimising space utilisation. The handle has soft grips, returning smoothly to vertical position.

An integrated PIN code panel with LCD display for status indication ensures easy control and operation.
