The Wacker Neuson Group will create a new business unit for attachments within its Corporate Aftermarket Department to be headed by managing director Reinhold Baisch.
Wacker Neuson chief sales officer Alexander Greschner says the new unit will enhance the company’s offerings to the construction and agricultural sectors.
“Thanks to a diverse range of attachments and smart assistance systems, our wheel loaders and telehandlers as well as our excavators are already veritable all-rounders,” he says. “Our customers really value the flexibility of our machines and their wide application spectrum.”
Baisch says digital assistance systems and standardised interfaces were playing an increasingly important role in the attachment segment. “The right attachments transform our compact machines into the versatile helpers our agricultural and construction customers have come to know and expect,” he says.
