Clark Material Handling Co has expanded the territory of authorised dealer Tri-Lift NC Inc to include Raleigh, North Carolina and all of western North Carolina, effective from 1 June.

Tri-Lift NC is based in Greensboro, North Carolina and, in the geographic expansion, succeeds G&W Equipment Inc.

Tri-Lift NC began operations in 1992 as a branch of Tri-Lift Inc in Connecticut, and became an independent entity in 2003. Tri-Lift NC began distributing Genie-brand equipment in 2001 and Clark forklifts in the Greensboro market in September 2006. Tri-Lift NC also represents Hitachi TCM forklifts and Blue Giant electric forklifts.

"Tri-Lift NC is an established dealer for Clark in Greensboro with a proven record," says Scott Johnson, vice president of business development with Clark in Lexington. "Bob and Karen Bond have a solid materials handling business model in place."

Charlotte, North Carolina-based G&W Equipment added the Cat and Jungheinrich brands to its Mitsubishi representation in the western portions of North Carolina and South Carolina in February 2012. G&W began handling Mitsubishi forklifts in the territory in 1997.
