Tompkins Robotics, a leading global provider of autonomous mobile robot (AMR) fulfilment solutions, has partnered with Primary Sight, a digital warehousing solutions expert, to bring a local presence to Australian and New Zealand markets.

Tompkins Robotics’ primary AMR solution, tSort, sorts a wide range of items and parcels to consolidation points, optimising client distribution performance and capabilities.

Recently, Kmart Australia deployed tSort mobile automation to support its distributed logistics network in the height of spiking demands. The project was executed flawlessly and gave rise to multiple requests for additional projects in the region.

Mike Futch, Tompkins Robotics president and CEO, and Thompson Brockman, Tompkins Robotics VP of operations, recognised the advantage of finding an experienced, professional partner who could operate locally and deliver exceptional results and selected Primary Sight.

"The partnership between Primary Sight and Tompkins Robotics creates an exciting product offering for the ANZ region that is more flexible, scalable and cost effective than the traditional solutions on the market,” says Brockman. “Primary Sight’s values and customer first approach align strongly with ours."

Sean Hewat, head of solutions ANZ, and the team at Primary Sight have many years of industry experience, bringing innovative, cost-effective solutions from concept through to implementation in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Hewat welcomes the partnership with Tompkins Robotics, a global leader in AMR technology, which he says “creates an exciting product offering for the ANZ region”.

The two companies will work together to bring transformational robotic technology with disciplined project management principals to execute projects and bring value to their customers.
