Recently, the FBRF series Sit-on Reach Truck underwent a minor update to model 75.
This refreshed model, which is scheduled to go on sale in January 2010, incorporates the following innovations, among others:
  • an Operation Interlock System (a safety function that locks out travel and hydraulic operations if the operator is not properly seated in the vehicle);

  • an overhead guard that offers improved durability;

  • an advanced control system for improved operation.

Nichiyu's FBRF offers AC control for responsive travelling performance, smooth lifts and easy steering thanks to the compact body design required for materials handling inside warehouses. This model provides outstanding ease of operation with excellent upper visibility thanks to the improved cylinder alignment and the design of the overhead guard. It is also equipped with an innovative display that reveals operational status at a glance. Improved safety features include restriction of lift speed when travel speed exceeds a prescribed limit and a feature that locks out all functions to prevent unexpected movement when the key switch is turned on with either the accelerator pedal or hydraulic lever activated.

Available in 1.4-tonne, 1.6-tonne and 2.0-tonne load capacities, this new model accepts both DIN and BS batteries to accommodate the recent increasing demand from China and other Asian countries.
