SynQ expands beyond the scope of existing warehouse management systems
Swisslog has introduced its latest SynQ materials handling software to Australia.

The SynQ software, which is a combination of Synchronisation and Intelligence Quotient, has been designed for dynamic, data-driven supply chains, such as those in industries like food and beverage, automotive, e-commerce, manufacturing, health, pharmaceuticals and transport.

"SynQ expands beyond the scope of existing warehouse management systems without leaving the customer behind," says Sean Ryan, head of sales and consulting, Swisslog Australia. "Backwards compatibility is built into each new version of the system, which means that it can be seamlessly integrated into any existing operations and it will work with older software as well as the latest versions."

Swisslog says an integral functionality feature is the ability to continually record equipment condition by incorporating the measurement and analysis of physical values such as distances covered, temperatures, energy consumption of individual elements and disciplines from state-of-the-art sensors into system reports.

Forkliftaction's JOB MARKET

It’s the year 2000. You’re in front of a boxy beige desktop waiting for the screeching ramblings of your dial-up to reach its finale. You go to Yahoo!, MSN, or maybe AOL, and start the mind-numbing process of finding your very specific needle in the digital haystack. And with web pages loading one image at a time, patience isn’t just a virtue – it’s a requirement!

As clumsy as this early iteration seems now, this technology was the great enabler that allowed Forkliftaction to connect to the industry across the globe.

To everyone who has connected with Forkliftaction in the past 25 years, thank you for your contribution to our success! We feel deeply touched by your words of encouragement.

What has Forkliftaction meant to you? Drop us a line.
