UL LLC ("Underwriters Laboratories" or "UL"), the global safety science leader, has awarded Stromcore Energy Inc. ("Stromcore"), an advanced battery systems and module manufacturer based out of Canada, UL 2580 Listing for their Class I and II battery systems across North America. The rugged systems were dropped, spun, crushed, slammed and shaken for days but still functioned without a hitch. The patented fire-proof battery design was even proven in a real-life test.



UL 2580 Guarantees Safety

Batteries Pass US and Canadian Standards

To ensure wide ranging coverage of listing, Stromcore batteries passed both US and Canadian UL 2580 testing standards for all configurations including all formats of reach and sit-down battery packs. This offers certified compatibility and safety across more than 500 models. UL testing involves a variety of rigorous scenarios to ensure Stromcore batteries can confidently withstand extreme conditions to guarantee their safety including:

• Fire Propagation Test: Self-extinguishing after igniting a battery cell
• Crush Test: Withstanding 22,500lbs of pressure
• Drop Test: Dropping the 3,000lbs battery from a height of one meter
• Rotation Test: Rotating the battery 360-degrees on all axes
• Short Circuit Test: Batteries undergo several soft and hard short circuits
