Hubtex will demonstrate at the LogiMAT how the company is continually expanding its modular system for electric multidirectional sideloaders to allow users to gradually automate their handling processes.
Particularly for complex transport tasks, such as the handling of long, heavy and bulky goods, first-class systems are required. The use of driverless transport systems (DTS) is thus becoming an increasingly important part of production processes. HUBTEX Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG has been working on automated solutions for a number of years now and will be presenting the company's latest developments at the LogiMAT trade fair. The manufacturer of customised industrial forklifts, sideloaders and special-purpose equipment is particularly focused on integrating automated functions and systems into series-production vehicles, such as the electric multidirectional sideloader. Hubtex also utilizes modular systems that can be tailored to the various requirements of intralogistics systems.

Hubtex' electric multidirectional sideloaders and special-purpose vehicles are suitable for a diverse range of applications, ensuring the safe transport of loads in warehouses ? predominantly in the automobile and aviation industries but also in the timber and steel industries. The manufacturer of customised industrial forklifts already offers a host of modular systems. The spectrum ranges from assisted driving, for example with intelligent route guidance, and track-guided driving to autonomous driving. In future, it will be possible to perform even complex transport tasks automatically and to fully integrate multidirectional sideloaders in automated production processes, for instance. The vehicles can be used flexibly and complete their transport tasks in a fast, efficient and reliable manner. This particularly benefits customers with large inventory turnovers, who profit from reduced process costs coupled with a reduction in operating costs as well as optimised material flows and an increase in efficiency.

Optimum integration of assistance systems
Hubtex already deploys numerous assistance systems in its vehicles to provide optimum support in complex processes and make life easier for employees. For example, an automated shelf-positioning system navigates the operator to the correct shelf in a direct and precise manner after the warehouse position is entered. Companies that deploy DTS gain the ability to interconnect and integrate a wide range of warehouse management and production data, while also benefiting from the automation of steering, driving and lifting functions. The assistance systems are all based on a platform and can thus be optimally combined with one another and aligned with the individual requirements of the customer. Automated components can be integrated into Hubtex' ever-expanding vehicle platform without any hassle - and there's no need for any design changes to the vehicle itself. All Hubtex vehicles can be fitted with highly efficient lithium-ion batteries, thus eradicating the need for replacement batteries and ensuring that vehicles are ready for 24-hour use every day.

Visitors at the LogiMAT trade fair can receive further information and detailed advice at the Hubtex information booth (10) in hall D07 or on the Hubtex website: www.hubtex.com.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
