Jamco joins Skyjack network

Jamco has extended its product range, becoming an official Skyjack dealer for Central Florida.

"We are (now) OEM distributors for Doosan and Heli forklifts and JLG and Skyjack on the scissor lift and aerial equipment side," a spokesman tells Forkliftaction News, adding that Jamco sales, rentals, parts and service will be available for all four brands.

The expansion has not required any additional space or staff, with the existing sales force trained up for the new Skyjack line while the service team went through an extensive online training program.

Jamco believes the addition of Skyjack "provides our customers with more options on aerial lift equipment". The company is also looking at generating additional parts and service revenue from the population of Skyjacks in its market.

With operations in Canada and Florida, Jamco has been expanding its materials handling range since 1987.

Meanwhile, Skyjack recently signed a new dealership agreement with Xuzhou Handler Special Vehicle Co., Ltd, the leading truck-mounted boom lift seller in mainland China.

"Our partnership with Skyjack shows our confidence in the quality of their machines," says Yin Yaping, general manager of Xuzhou Handler. "During my visit to different MEWP companies in North America, I saw Skyjack products in every corner, which speaks volumes for their popularity in the North American market."

Established in 2005, Xuzhou Handler is a vehicle company specialising in the production and distribution of truck-mounted boom lifts and other vehicles such as fire trucks and insulated cars. Strategically situated in the Xuzhou Economic Development Zone, the company is known for adopting the world's latest technologies in its operations.

Xuzhou is Skyjack's latest partner in mainland China.
